Country singer/songwriter Shelley Skidmore grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Stanton, Kentucky. Having grown up in a musical family, Shelley has been singing and performing since the age of five. Throughout her youth and teenage years, Shelley avidly pursued her musical ambitions, eventually earning herself a music business degree at Belmont University. In 2013 Shelley signed to Wrensong/Reynsong publishing as a writer/developing artist. Her recent EP, “White Picket Fences,” produced by Grammy award winning producer, Paul Worley, includes collaborations with Brandy Clark, Kathy Mattea, Matraca Berg and Deana Carter. Spotify country added Shelley's song, "Pawn Shop," to the New country playlist; it's since surpassed 80,000 Spotify streams within the first month, and is currently at 514,000 streams. Most recently, Shelley just finished a 17-city tour leg with Creative Nation's Steve Moakler. Shelley has had several placements on ABC's Nashville, and is currently enrolled in a groundbreaking artist discovery program with major powerhouses in Music City. Presently, Shelley is working on putting out a new single and coordinating music video. She is actively compiling new content for her debut album with Wrensong/Reynsong Publishing, set to release next year.
